Several years ago my Sunday School teacher and I were having a discussion on whether or not the United States is a great country. I was unhappy that we did not have agreement. During the week I thought about the conversation. His points were well taken. The United Stated has always been my home, and I would not want it any other way. The following week I shared with him my discomfort in our disagreement and told him that I agreed with him. This is a fabulous country, AND what keeps us fabulous is our willingness to look at where we are not.
I started a blog called What's Not Working - www.whatsnotworking.blogspot.com, and when I posted it to my Facebook wall, a dear friend suggested that we switch the conversations to what works. But of course - what a perfect opportunity for me to begin and continue conversations on how fabulous events and family and relationships and life really are. This blog will also give us the opportunity to tweak the complaints in our lives to see how most of what is going on really does work. I welcome your efforts on co-creating this conversation.
